Is this the proper venue to post this? If not, where does one post a complaint against a vendor, who knowingly sent the wrong plant, and now will not make good. I purchased an expensive juvenile tropical plant(S. subcordatum) from Top Tropicals on Florida's West Coast. They sent me a much less expensive plant(S dulcificum). After a couple of years, I sent a leave & flower sample to the U of Fla for identification and it confirmed what I believed, I'd been duped. First Top Tropicals said send the plant back. My reply was that would serve neither of us, I was willing to pay for the plant. I said all I want was the difference between the rare, expensive plant for the one they sent. Two more emails, with a copy of the plant ID from the U of Fla, have gone unanswered. Most likely I'm not the only one taken.
