WHAT IS BLOOMING NOW? AUGUST 1 - 15

Pony - I replace my callas every year (so far), so I can't say. But my neighbors' giant callas are tiny this year.

Mine are (in theory) the giant callas too. Well, at least I know it's not just me. Maybe the long cold spring had a negative effect on them. :-/

Pony, where do you get most of your dahlias? I notice the Swan Island dahlia festival in Canby Or is coming up and I'll be in Portland at the same time. I went one year and it was a nice display. Maybe I'll go again. I can't remember if their prices were decent. We have a guy on the island with real good prices but he doesn't have a huge variety.

I got most of my dahlias from the Washington State Dahlia Society. They had a booth set up at a plant sale I went to on my birthday. They loaded me down with a ton of tubers for very little money.
