CLOSED: Friend or Foe?? ID please.....

Have seen this guy around twice now.....or I have more than one....I have been told fuzzy cats are usually moths....Is this true? And who is this guy and do I want him in my garden?

This caterpillar appears to be one known a the yellow bear (Spilosoma virginica; Lepidoptera: Erebidae; subfamily Arctiinae). The adult is a pretty, white moth - see http://tinyurl.com/yhr7pqh for images. These caterpillars will feed on a wide variety of plants, and can be pests when numerous.

Thanks again!! They are Very pretty aren't they? I don't mind if they eat a little bit......he was on some impatience that I had not planted yet.....
