It loves my hyacinth bean leaves on my lanai. It is approx 2" long. Thank you

This caterpillar is in the family Noctuidae (sensu latum); either a Spodoptera or Noctua sp, ( a clear view of the head capsule would helps distinguish between the two). Both can be serious garden pests.
