i found this spider in my house , i live in northeast louisiana , he looks to be the size of a quarter maybe a tad smaller . can someone tell me what he is , thanks

This appears to be a male southern house spider, Kukulcania hibernalis (family Filistatidae). They can give one a painful but not dangerous bite - see http://tinyurl.com/m8d5aq for detailed information.
