How do I get rid of them...where do they nest? They are biting my grandchildren and making swimming in the pool unpleasant! They are so tiny!
sweat bees
Can you provide a photo of your visitors? I would like to be sure of what you have. Sweat bees (family Halictidae) nest in burrows in the ground (each female constructs her own), and can be valuable pollinators; 'getting rid' of them may be nearly impossible, as their nesting areas can encompass such a large area.
will post a pic...valuable pollinators?
