I'll bet a dollar against a donut....that it will root just fine!

Well I hope you are right. I have been told an expensive nursery in town has some of the new oleanders. I am going to call tomorrow to find out, I will let you know. I wonder if I should take my cutting shears?

WormsLovSharon,
I would try the soda bottle method that brical suggested. You need the humidlty.

Mickey, I finally remembered to look up my oleander. I'm sorry I took so long. I ordered it from Aloha Tropicals in 2002. It is called Mrs. George Roeding. Very pretty but no fragrance for me.

Sharon--please tell me about the easy cloner -i haven't heard of it before

JudyB,
Hi I have about 600 feet of Mrs. George Roeding , That we use as a fence. They don't get a lot of water so they aren't that tall. I thing I have trimmed them from time to time too. I'm sorry that you had to buy it. I have several in pots that I regularly water and are full of beautiful flowers all the time. I can't smell anything but I have heard that they smell of baby powder. They are also very easy to rot and are all over Phoenix!
Unless they are tagged I have no idea one from another. Photos are almost impossible to capture the correct color too.
I have a few different cuttings now in my closed water bottles, I can't wait. I see how the additional humidity is of great help. Now I have to try and get some large water bottles to use. I just tossed some great containers that something came in that wold have worked great. I didn't think I would ever use them. I was trying to work on decluttering luckily I found a couple. They will hold larger cuttings nicely.

I have been doing the same. I just went into my recycle to find some larger bottles. I have a couple of Orange Juice bottles which may be to large. I have the EZ Clone so I think I will cut off the top and place it over the plant on the EZ Clone to see what happens. Then also do some without the EZ Cloner. Great idea. Thank you who ever posted it because I have forgotten but already passed the info on to a friend.

105 today and still no rain. I am ready for mid September.
