Which Moth ?

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

I found this moth on my storage bench, after cutting down a broken branch from our Birch tree.
And have seen another similar one earlier on in the week, and it was dark brown. I will add it next.

The first moth is in the family Noctuidae; it looks a lot like the green-patched looper, Diachrysia balluca - see http://tinyurl.com/29rmop5
