How would I go about doing this? I seen some in town that I really liked, and thought maybe I could start them from cuttings. Would they grow pretty quickly, or are they slow to start?
Can I root crepe myrtles from cuttings?
Crapemyrtle are pretty easy to root from cuttings.
I have rooted them in sand under mist. Key is keeping the foliage hydrated till the roots are able to keep up with transpiration.
Semihardwood is what I've used. You might post in the Propagation forum and see what others have had success with.
ok thanks, I'll post over there too.
