how late in the year should you quit germinating seeds to grow? my climate i can germinate now and get blooms as winter usually doeswnt start till end sept oct and sometimes later. but what is the general rule.
how late is too late to start
You can sow seeds in July and see flowers and get seeds on the annuals like Ipomoea nil and I. purpurea. August tends to be too hot to start seeds, but you can do it if you have ingenuity. Just a personal thought, not a guideline or rule. You can start perennial seeds now for possible flowers next year. You can experiment for your location.
