Dear Dave,
Thanks for info on Foster and Gallagher,I sent checks to Stark Bros,Henry Fields and Gurney's on June 20th. Checks were cash for a total of$ 1240.00 for plants and trees and other garden acessories. I was wondering what had happen.

Is there something in place for you to get your money back since the companies are bankrupt now? My mom placed an order with Michigan Bulb - no word.

Kacy and GW... my wife was given a certificate for a tree from Starks...we recently got a card in the mail about the bankruptcy. Listed in the card is a website to go to to download file a proof of claim. Get this...it says "you must download and complete the proof of claim to preserve your right of recoveryagainst F& G ". "download and complete the proof of claim document located a www.altmangroup.com/fg/ and return it to The Altman Group, Inc SO AS TO BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 4:00 P.M (prevailing Eastern Time) ON OCTOBER 31, 2001.
It goes on to say that failure to timely file a proof will bar you from recovering money...etc...

Hope this helps. That's a lot of dough, kacy. I wonder how much they are making off with!
