Any takers on this guy?
I meant to comment earlier, and just forgot. Although it superficially resembles a small scarab beetle, the antennae appear atypical for that family. Could you submit another image that has the head region in clearer focus?
Much better image; this beetle definitely is in the family Scarabaeidae; likely in the subfamily Rutelinae. It resembles an introduced species that has become a pest in many areas, the Oriental beetle (Anomala orientalis) - see http://tinyurl.com/2ecvl3v and http://tinyurl.com/2adaoda
