CLOSED: Need insect identification

I have an insect in my bathroom. 1/2 inch long ( or smaller),tapers from head to tail, silver, no antenas or vissible legs ( very flat to floor ). It looks like it crawls like a snake. Does not look like the silverfish pictures I have seen?

Can you post an image of it? It does sound like a silverfish/firebrat.

Slugs are know to show up in the bathroom and basements.

No legs, snake like, and with no image, a slug is all I can think of.
