I know the photo is not very clear, but ill to my best to describe it.
The insect is about 1cm long, neon green hind legs, bright red head, dark purple/black thorax. you cant see in the picture but it had 2 black club-shaped appendages in front of its mandibles. The antennae were going back and forth very fast, and it did not appear to have any wings. im stumped, somebody tell me what this is.
CLOSED: What kind of insect is this?
It looks like a very blurry cricket.
