Black/Yellow Beetle types

Colorado Springs, CO(Zone 6a)

These tiny black and yellow bugs are infesting the inside of all my daylily blooms. I can't tell any damage, but that doesn't mean there isn't any. This picture isnthe best I could get, and there's far fewer bugs than normal as I took it right after a heavy rain. TIA.
Any idea what they are?

I cannot be certain from this image, but these could be sap-feeding beetles (Coleoptera: Nitidulidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/2e27uay for an example. If so, they should not cause any serious damage. These beetles often are pests in soft fruits such as strawberries, or on ears of corn that have already been damaged by earworms or corn borers.

Hi Suunto, thank you for responding. I think you must be close. I'm not sure though because the little bug on my dl's doesn't have that second band of yellow. But it does have the same antenae with the rounded "ball" on the end.
I took another picture..I'm afraid this is the best my camera is going to get, but I think you can see its body better? Thanks again for your help. Susanne

In this picture you can see how they are all crowded in the throat of the daylily. They're like this in all my daylilies, front and back yard. Weird.
