I found this big bug apparently dead after it ingested another bug presumably was killed by poisoning from foundation (bugs) treatment at my local Gym. What is it please.

This is a male eastern Hercules beetle, Dynastes tityus (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae). These beetles are strictly herbivores/detrivores, and do not eat other insects of any kind. See http://tinyurl.com/33crpgc for images and more information.
May I agrue that it may feed on the decomposted partial body of another bug? I saw a partially consumed bug--what looks like another beetle of some kind but was much smaller.
Sununto, thank you for your help.
