I tried putting this in the Butterfly forum for identification, no answer there. This large cat is eating on my Jatropha. This one is at least 3 inches long.
CLOSED: Cat ID
This is a caterpillar of a giant leopard moth, Hypercompe scribonia (Lepidoptera: Erebidae; subfamily Arctiinae) - see http://tinyurl.com/242ooes
Answered on both forums. Thank you so much!
