For the last few weeks these bugs have been seen in my stairwell and trying to enter my condo
Could not identify the bug in the bug finder section.
I live in Maryland near the Chesapeake There has been an ongoing replacement of the cedar siding of my condo complex..Any help appreciated!
These are beetles in the family Scarabaeidae, subfamily Melolonthinae. Many species in this group are attracted to light at night, and thus often are found on or in buildings. They are leaf feeders whereas their larvae usually feed on roots below the soil surface. They are not structural pests of any sort.
