I winter sowed this Jan of 09. It was still alive in Summer of 09. But this year it is blooming and showing it's hardy beauty.

I just love yarrow. I sowed some two years ago (mixed colors) and only a apricot colored one germinated / survived. Anyway, I am planning on growing quite a few more colors this coming summer.

Do you remember which color they call that? I understand that if you cut them back, you may get a second blooming out of them. My neighbor has some that she said I can take some of but I want to wait until either late Fall or early Spring. I can't remember what color hers are either.

I bought seed from T&M - both "Summer Pastels" and "Summer Berries". I think this one was the from the "Summer Pastels" packet. I think I must order some more. So far they are doing fine, and we have had a really cold winter.
