These could be pale examples of the yellow bear caterpillar, Spilosoma virginica (Lepidoptera: Erebidae; subfamily Arctiinae) - see http://tinyurl.com/2bfznvu for an example. These caterpillars can vary in color from nearly pure white to very dark brown, and nearly everything in between.

Cute they're. I've plenty of plants in the garden. A few cuties aren't going to hurt the many plants. The brug went right on making flowers while the leaves are being stripped off.
