This beautiful spider was kind enough to let me photograph her! She was kind enough to capture the little critter for her "action" shot. I have not been able to identify her though. Any ideas?

This spider is in the family Tetragnathidae (long-jawed orb weavers); it appears to be an orchard spider, Leucauge venusta - see http://tinyurl.com/26mykmp for an image. The coloration of this spider can vary quite a bit.

Thank you. We do have some easily identifiable orb spiders in the courtyard, they are yellow with the points & spots. Now I can finally answer "what kind of spider is it"!!!
