I was digging a new flowerbed in the shade of the yard when I dug this thing up. It looked almost identical to a Junebug but it was very metallic in shades of green and dark orange. Does anyone know what this is that I saw? Thanks so much.

if it looked like this it was a Japanese beetle. otherwise im not sure what other kind of bug has that discription
