A friend of JSS :D

Easton, MD(Zone 5a)

Hi, I'm new to Dave's Garden. My dear and wonderful friend JSS got me onto the site. I'm not sure how to go about finding information, using the journal, etc. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I don't really do a lot of planting, mostly outdoor pots. However, I am looking for interesting indoor plants for winter that may have great color, texture, and maybe even a fragrant blossom. Any ideas?

Blessings to you all,

KendraSue

hi Kendra, welcome!!!!!!!! Hope you find it warm and inviting here, but watch out, some of the funniest things I've ever read are lurking all over these pages:)

Welcome to Dave's Garden....the best there is for sure.
For an indoor plant you can try some lavender in a pot. Mums are also a nice fall plant.
I know there will be other coming on who probably can give you more and better suggestions for plants.

By the way, have you gone to the'Welcome Mat forum' yet to introduce yourself? If not, come with me and we will go introduce you to the rest of the clan.

Hi KS and welcome! If JSS dragged you here, you must be OK! Do be careful, you can laugh yourself to pain here. :)
Just scroll around and go back and forth and read stuff. You'll have a great time.
Hugs,

Welcome Kendra Sue. I know how you feel being a newcomer. But I love this site and the nice people I have met on here...I do have a tendency to "post" a lot (sometimes I feel like I may be butting is as the others seem to know each other, but I'm losing that feeling now). Jo
