This is indeed a 'sweat bee' (Hymenoptera: Halictidae) in the tribe Augochlorini. There are a few species that can be quite similar in appearance; see http://tinyurl.com/34nac68 for an example (just a note - color alone not always is a reliable specific identifier).

The color did throw me off. I've seen other Sweat bees, but they were black.
