CLOSED: What kind of butterfly

Columbus, GA(Zone 8a)

It may be some kind of a Skipper, it's about that size, but I'm not sure if its a Skipper.

Thanks

This is inddeda skipper (the hooked tips of the antennae are characteristic); it appears to be one of the grass skippers in the subfamily Hesperiinae. Although it looks a bit like the three-spotted skipper, Cymaenes tripunctus - see http://tinyurl.com/2exa7vs - there are several other species that can be quite similar in appearance.

Thanks, suunto
