Yes, I certainly can, just let me know so I can save them for you Linda.
prickly pear cactus
i have turks cap but not where i see it so who knows -maybe i am attracting hummers--by the way-how do you get startsf for turks cap?
as for flame acanthus--i am going to check the plant files on that one
The easiest way to increase Turk's cap is to find some seedlings and pot them, they usually reseed.
You can also take a piece of your clump with roots and that will work, or you can take cuttings from the new growth.
I was mad at myself the other day. Went to water DH's tomato plants and there next to the water is three baby Turk's Cap. Wet the ground pulled them up ........then tossed them with a hand full of weeds I guess!! They never got potted anyway!! I try to carry a jar of water when I go to do weeding for what I might find but was only watering tomatoes.
lots of ways i guess
by the way--thunder here but still sunny and no rain
It came a downpour here and then steady for more than an hour. We ended up with almost an inch and a half. Saved having to turn on the sprinkler, plus it will be cool in the am so I can get some work done in the beds.
We just got a sprinkle, basically nothing, I was sooo hoping, oh well!!!
Sheila, I think that rain was a reward for you working so hard in the sun digging and potting when we were there. I didn't get more than a light mist. So disappointed. What was the name of the succulent that had the baby plants on the leaves. I forgot. I repotted it to a bigger pot and put it on my patio table. It really shows off there. Makes a statement!
i am so jelous!! not a drop here--and that thunder sounded so promising!!
That is cool, Linda. And you made it yourself?
i did but of course i used a mold--
That is another style that same company has that we were telling you about.
The rain made it much easier to get out front and work today. I am cutting back the iris and pulling up weeds and trees compliments of the squirrels and mother nature. I almost filled a large green cart today.
Darlene....that plant is this one.
Kalanchoe laetivirens .....These are like mother of thousands!!
