I know it is a ladybird beetle (ladybug), but does anyone know what kind in particular?

This is Coleomegilla maculata, commonly known simply as the spotted lady beetle. They are quite common in our garden.

Thanks, suunto, I saw the spotted one in my field guide, but the black dots on the thorax messed me up. I was leaned toward nine spotted.
