Is this dianthus seed pod mature?

This pod is from a dianthus Fire Star - a perennial dianthus. Should I expect to find seeds in it? Or are they all gone by this time? Or is the complex business inside of it the actual seed pod?

Can you shake any seeds out? It looks mature to me. Give it a crack :) If not, you should have TONS of other pods that should be ready soon :) lol

I just harvested some seeds and planted and literally two days later, that are seedlings :)
