June Blooms

Kittrell, NC(Zone 7b)

Lynn, you do so much better than I. Are you using a light box?

Beautiful blooms ladies. If I could only get my lights right!!!

Melanie

Melanie, if you ever get your lights figured out, please let me know. I have played and played with mine and I don't think I will ever figure it out LOL!!! Too high for some too low for others...can never make mine happy. I am surprised my gloxinias are budding and trying to bloom.

Oh Connie,Faye is sooo pretty!! Have you tried turning the lights on during the night and off during the day? Don't cry LOL.....we will get you fixed up in the fall.

Thank you so much Kim ^_^.

LOL,Melanie.I throw them on the bed, usually on top of a black tee shirt or my husbands burgundy robe.It seems like I do best around dusk without a flash or a very dark room with a flash.I can take decent outdoor pictures, but I'm afraid of getting critters on my plants.

Lynn

Northeast, MO(Zone 5b)

I did think about that, Lynn. I have a "plant room" and I have other plants across the room from the gessies. It has a huge picture window in it and then 2 small windows on the side the gessies are on. I was afraid they would not get the rest they needed if I ran them at night. We are slowly remodeling and came to a halt when hubby got hurt so I am hoping I can move some gessies into the room we have been working on later in the year. Guess it is already getting late in the year LOL!!! We also have boxes upon boxes out in that room that I am trying to sort through for yard sales (Mom's stuff) to give me room to finish the sheet rock. Hmmm...maybe I should have said late in the year of next year LOL!!! I will get there :)

Connie, this is just a small bump in the road.......you can do it!!

Northeast, MO(Zone 5b)

Small bump VS mountain of boxes LOL!! I like the way you look at it so much better, Melanie!

Thanks, Sweetie!!

My violets are happy with the new repotting hubby and I did a few weeks ago. It had been a long time! I have been too ill. Hubby did most of the work. I am SO glad we did it, so many to do.

Sally I am sorry you are not feeling well but it looks like hubby is doing a FANTASTIC job helping you with your plants. You get some rest and take care of yourself.

Maybe a few pictures will help with the struggles you are encountering.

This is from my outside garden. It's called 7 Sisters Rose

I love both, ha. I love the one I don't have too.

We have not found all my fairies, still packed. I can't do it myself. DH is taking vacation soon so we hope he can get things done then. Poor thing does SOOOOO much. Angel.

I LOVE this big fairy.

I like the fairies as well Sally, and I have only one! She sits on the top shelf of one of my smaller plant stands. I don't have much worth posting, but I have this one overachieving violet...it's like the energizer bunny--it just keeps going, and going... http://s333.photobucket.com/albums/m370/fleebeesmom/Jolly%20Gremlin/

Phoebs,
Your pictures are always worth posting!!

Kim,
I love your little "dish garden".

I'm not particulary a fairy or angel fan,but all of yours are so darn cute!! I tend to like little critter figurines, like turtles, bunnies,(hear that Phoebs?),chipmunks, etc.

Great pictures!!

Hi Kim -- Love your trays, and I think that's a great use for them. And your bubble gum machine terrarium is too cool! I have some "interesting" containers for plants as well, my particular weakness is the $1 section at Target. I've gotten Easter egg dipping cups, various beach toys, little kid flower kits etc -- never know what you'll find! And I had to laugh about seeing terrariums everwhere -- the kitchen center at Target is my source -- it's amazing what you can find for a buck or two. And there's the Asian noodle bowls there as well ... too fun!

Lynn, I'm with you on the little critters - I've got silly bright green glass frogs that I just adore, and I just seem to keep finding little birds, bird salt shakers, little metal birds, ... they're everywhere once you start noticing! LOL.
