Have you noticed that the very first flower often has this form : either a star.

Now here is the real question ...
If we collected seeds from that first bloom, would they produce a vine of flowers shaped just like that???? Now that would be really cool if they did!
Dany - LOL! I think you are right! Here is a star shaped bloom on my Heian Umi x Rose Silk vine. I usually notice the star shaped blooms towards the end of a vine's lifecycle as well as the very beginning.
What cultivar do those unusual leaves belong to?
Dany eager to see what blooms you get from that unusual, pretty foliage.
