Evergreen vine little fragrance

Powell, WY(Zone 4b)

My parents have build a lattice privacy fence and want to grow vines on it that are not very fragrant because it is just out side the bedroom window. I can't think of any thing that doesn't smell other than ivy which they don't want. Any suggestions?? zone 9b

there are other options such as hardenbergia, cross vine, bower vine, potato vine..etc that have no fragrance either.

I don't know what zone you are in, but the Passion Flower Vine has no discernible (to me) scent and the Lady Banks Rose has almost none.

Is it in the shade or in the sun?

No Central, AZ(Zone 7b)

It is against the house facing pretty much south so it gets shade starting about 2 this time of year.

If it gets shade by 2:00 I recommend an evergreen climbing hydrangea.

It's slow growing but the vine is really beautiful.
Another vine that I like is distictis buccinatoria. It has beautiful red flowers in the spring and it will grow in your conditions or in full sun or considerably more shade. I have it growing on a fence under an oak tree and it does fine there as well as on the east side of the house.
