CLOSED: Bug on my Daylilies

springfield area, MO(Zone 5b)

anyone know what this is, is it safe for my dayliles, and what is it doing on them?
They fly, they like to stay in the throat of the flower.
They look alot like a firefly, lightning bug, but it is not that.
Sorry I can't find my photo now, so I will post a link to the daylily forum I posted it earlier.

It's one of the Leatherwing beetles, Chauliognathus sp.. They eat pollen and maybe other insects, so they're considered beneficial.
