I've got 5 on Victor - prison makes guys tough.
Whaddya say 3 - Driving Habits
i am disappointed memory:)
You got the awsome rock - doesn't that kind of even things out?
I've got 15 on Victor, I'm immune.
i'll take all bets:)
Are you generally aggressive or defensive? Social. I wave alot.
Do you speed? Petal to the metal.
Do you drive slower with kids in the car? Roadster. It's not safe for kidlings.
Do you tailgate? Nope. It's rude.
Change lanes often? Frequently to change scenery.
What do you do if you're cut off by someone - ignore it, return the favor, give them a gesture? Send them dibilitating thoughts.
Drive slower in rain/snow? Yupper.
Come to a complete stop at stop signs? Yup.
Always signal turns? Yup.
Play the radio? Always and sing.
Talk on the cell without hands-free? Don't do cell.
Read, text, eat, put on makeup, have 'relations', or all at the same time??? nope, nope, nope, nope and that's too funky weird to give birth while driving! Do people do that ?!?!?
Else: I drive in a sleeping bag with the top down in the mountains to see the sunrise off the glaciers.

Hee hee!!!!
Love your philosophy, Dnut!
Here's another series of driving questions, do you?????.......
Pull out right in front of someone when there is no one behind them?
And then go 10 miles below the speed limit?
Lay on the horn the second the light turns green?
When entering a highway move immediately over to the left lane?
Then when approaching your exit shoot across 3 lanes of traffic?
When parking in a parking lot park right next to the only other car in the lot?
Never laid on the horn as I have not yet had relations in the car. ^_^
No to all of them, but see it all the time. The one that gets me the most is when someone pulls out in front of me and practically stops. AAACCCKKKK!!!!!
Also a left hand turn from an outside lane!!!!!!
Vic - try a 60 Corvair!
Oh yeah, that's the other one I couldn't remember.
When making a turn do you swing out wide like you're driving a tractor trailer???
Oh, yes...nearly wiped this afternoon by some ditz who exited the highway & tried to swing into the outer lane....I was already in the outer lane & if she can't spot a Tahoe, I'd like to know what she was on.....I managed to swing into the oncoming lane, because thank God, no was was coming at 60 mph down that hill!
D-nut - I love your "Else" addition! I love to watch the sunrise too (actually that's what my license plate says) and I also bring a sleeping bag so I can keep the top down. Anything above 45 is top down weather for me :)
Gotta be a challenge to drive while in a sleeping bag. All that and no relations?!!! Seems a waste of an opportunity.
Some of us are subtle about our extratraordinary vehicular activities Victor.
flowerjen I've never used the horn. I'm pretty sure my little red car has one though. Driving petal to the metal I just zip by most folks so I haven't been involved in the scenerios you mentioned. But if you drive a big truck why not just mow them down?
Frank65 drooooool Corvair 60 droooooooool
Songs isn't that just the bestest ^_^ I got pulled over by the RMCP once but when I showed that my feets were free of sleeping bag I got the high 5 for doing it ^_^

I adopt Dahlia's answers and I pass grocery carts in the grocery store and cut off the Indecisive Rudies. As to the rest, I learned to drive in Florida. Nuff said....flat highways call for more speed than up here. Now that we drive to Conn. one day a week, I'm shocked at the speed and the tailgating there. I must be getting older.....can't remember being shocked by it when I worked there for a lifetime! As to the personal question....ahem, I'm not too old yet....maybe in my future.

Geez dnut, I'm not exactly sure how to take your statement (lol)!!!!
Papa Bear Frank it's all about you hot car ^_^ We are all used to Victor's grasps. I'm juust luvin your Covair.
I did have some hot times in that little car.
Mine wasn't a convertible. I say mine. It was actually my dad's.
I learned to drive in a 54 Ford. First car was a 52 Chevy P/U; then a 56 Ford; 55 Chevy and then my favorite a 59 Chevy Impala convertible, black with red interior. Everything after that doesn't compare!
Frank, My first was a '39 Chevy sedan delivery, my 2nd was a '60 Impala sports coupe, but my all time favorite was my '65 Falcon Sprint. Oh Lordy, I wish I had all of them sittin' in my barn now, even in the condition I parted with them.LOL Ric
That was my dad's Corvair and my dad waving in the pic( I wasn't around yet)
My hubby loves Impalas.... lead sleds
I've thought about that often Ric. I loved that old pickup too. Little old flat head 6 step-side with the spare on the side rack!!!
I swear the heat has fried peoples brains...there were some serious idiots on the road today
I need to go scan some old photographs and slides.
I had a 110 hp sky blue with a white ragtop '65 Corvair when I was in college (the first time - circa early '80s). It had the new and more curvaceous body style vs. the early models like Jen showed. My brother had a red '64 hardtop - same body as the '60 version (Unsafe At Any Speed...).
What a great ride, and per the parlance of the time - a babe magnet.
Except for the aluminum heads (warp magnets), I'd still have it today. Had to let it go when the engine blew (as a still poor student) - regret that forever.
One of these days midlife will catch up with me, and I'll get another one - maybe a Spyder or a Corsa with the 180 engine. Then - watch out...
Had a friend from Hancock, Md. we were stationed at Fort Dix, summer of '70. He had a rag-top Corvair, twin Webers, and a 4 speed? Had a great time at Jersey shore that year, babe magnet may be an understatement. LOL Ric
Wow - nice, VV!
My dad had a very cool '67 Impala forever. We thought he would be buried in it. He shocked us about 8 years ago when he got rid of it. He gave it a collector who was going to restore it. It was maroon. Loved the long sloping rear. It was a tank.
67 Impala - nice. Love to own one now. Had a 59 Impala rag top. Had a 67 Mustang for awhile. Traded it for a 69 - xwife wanted it. I think the 67 was a much better car. The V8 in it had a metal tag on it that said it was made in West Germany!!!!! Never figured that one out.
I'll look for a pic.
Beauty!
Yes!
Va Va Va Voom, VV!!! :)
