Info wanted on Melianthus major (Honey bush) seeds

Huntington Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I have a Melianthus major that is finishing up it's flowering and I've tried to find the seeds to no avail. Does anyone know what they look like? I have a garden friend that really wants some seeds from this.

Thanks,
Donna

SoCal,

Scroll down to about the 4th row on this page to get an idea of what you should look for.

AuNatural,

Thank you sooooo much for that link. Those are the type of seeds I thought it would have and I am finding the pods completely empty of anything. I even waited for them to turn brown, incase it needed more time to develope. I am at a total loss. I guess I'll just keep checking every few days to hopefully find a few.

I really do appreciate your help.

Could it be lack of pollination, or perhaps the fruit opened up already and ejected the seeds?
If you have any of those closed papery fruit left, put a bag over it to catch the seeds.

This is a better resource:

My last thought would be to take some basal cuttings if you friend could use that instead.
