I think it is a tiger lilly, but when I looked in the plantfiles for it, I couldn't find it. Please help me ID it.

It's not a tiger lily, but I don't know what it is, except that it's really pretty!

Correct. It is not a tiger lily. I am inclined to think it is a species lily, as breeders always breed out the open space between the petals. If it produces bulbils (little bulbs where each leaf meets the stem), then it is Lilium bulbiferum. Otherwise, it would either be Lilium maculatum or Lilium dauricum. The "furry" buds tell me it is Lilium dauricum. Lilium maculatum should have smooth buds. There are, however, hybrids of the two, masquerading as one or the other.

I have a ton of them. Last year I dug them out along with a ton of iris's and transplanted them all over the yard. Opened my little flower garden up so much. Now I can actually have a variety of perennials. They were taking up the entire space.
