Love 'Heart Attack'!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Heart Attack has the votes for today I think.

Celeste, my gosh those lupines are soooo droopy ^_^

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Alert, Alert, Lupine envy. I may get one to bloom this year. I am going to seed an area as Celeste suggests and walk away.

I took my DH to the airport and stopped on the way home to get more some white impatience. Planted three six packs right by the front door and that is it for the day. Back to bed, no energy. I have computer work to catch up on, so I will do that while in bed and post some photo's that DH took the last couple of days. I haven't even walked through the garden. I know it misses me. Patti

Love those warm colored iris. Mine seemed to come and go very quickly this year. Hope you feel better and get back your strength.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

flowerjen & ngam, Thanks, I am trying to corner the market on deep red and yellow iris. The problem is that so many look just alike to me.

Celeste, I knew you would go for the blues.

Here are some hot colors. Patti

Oooo love that yellow/orange/red broom. Does it seed about a lot? Is it more orange or red? I think maybe another for the list.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

ditto on the sweet william 'heart attack' oooooooo

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

It says volumes that I have the time to watch astilbes bloom.I guess I need a real life.I imagined these Amethysts with lilies last year and planted same. I hope the Amethysts are still blooming when the lilies open,Samuer,Rosepoint Lace,Pink Perfection.
I watch these every day from the deck.

I think a life watching astilbes bloom is a wonderful life ^_^

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Ngam, We have only grown that one for 2 years. We mow or weed whack around it. I think it is suppose to be sterile broom hybrid so it is not suppose to self seed, but I wouldn't count on that.

great shots patti - hope you feel better very soon!!

still waiting for my zenobia to do something.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Bill, zenobia is ericaceous so you may want to add something to acidify the soil around it.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

maybe add to the number of white pines i have already?

Long Branch, NJ(Zone 7a)

Look what greeted me this morning. First of my callas to bloom - Picasso. Got some new hybrids. Took forever for the corms to sprout - about 2 months. I thought they all got rotten. But as soon as they sprout out of the ground they grow so fast.
