Do you know the name of this lily?

There are 3 other buds on that stem. I have no idea what it is because I got it from Lowe's in the fall when it was nearly dead for next to nothing. I have another one like it with 6 buds on it.

Nice Bev.my pic was from last year. They are about to open in a few days, maybe.

This is the first year I have had this lily I assume after it bloomed at Lowe's last year. My plant is now 22 inches tall.

The leaves look the same as the Matrix. But there is a major difference in the petals. My petals are broader and overlap. The Matrix is thinner and don't over lap. Mine is dark down the center of the petals and the Matrix is yellow. Also my petals look more red than the Matrix.

Also mine has very light orange filaments and the Matrix looks like orange. My anthers are fuzzy yellow and the Matrix looks like orange. Mine has a brown stignam and from what I can tell, the Matrix is orange. My stignam is brown and the ovary is yellow.

I have the advantage of looking at my flower and seeing the true colors. Unfortunately, I am just guessing the Matrix colors from the photos.

I have also looked at many DG photos of the Matrix and I really think mine is different from that.

Any ideas?

Bev, is that your lily? And you don't know the ID either? Looks rather like mine.

I looked ALL over the Internet to find an ID and couldn't find one.

Considering where you bought it, it may not have a name. It could well be one of those that are mass marketed for places like Lowes and Home Depot. Earlier this spring I saw some lilies at our Home Depot that were simply labeled Red Lily. A lot of home gardeners don't care about names and these lilies sell very well.

I will look and see if I marked it. There are so many weeds because of so much rain. BEV
