What is this crazy bug? It has 6 legs and very long antennae. It is a light green in color and hops quite well.

This appears to be a young nymph of a bush katydid (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae) in the genus Scudderia - see http://tinyurl.com/24ajy5f for an example. Older nymphs are less colorful.
