Sorry this is so long, just trying to give as much info as i can, since i dont have a picture to post with this thread.
I just recently read something about the Brown Recluse spider, not even knowing they exsisted, or even that the black widow was in canada and been seen all over ontario, i usually try to ignore these things due to my massive fear of every spider out there, unless they are very small, but i woke up early this morning around 3ish a.m to find a brown spider running across some blankets down the side of my bed, i quickly squished him between the covers and took him into the light, due to his resemblance to what i just recently read before going to sleep i started freaking out :) and did a close inspection, didnt really help because i knew nothing of what there signature markings were or to look for the eyes, i just knew they were brown? I dont remember him having the violin but i do remember him having dark black fangs, and the rest of his body was a beige-ish brown, with some very faded, but darker drown speckles on his bum, i dont remember paying that much attention to see if he was black footed, i was just more so struck by the fact its the first time iv seen a brown spider, usually its those, im assuming black grass spiders that are increadably hard to catch, he had the same body shape as them, and didnt look like he would be just over a quater size all streched out, im wondering if he would be something that of a Sac spider (since i read somwhere they dont have to be yellow, but everyone knows how the internet is) or more along the lines of a nursery spider? My bed is walled on every side with, about 2-3 inches from the walls, conveniently, a self on one side with probably some good hiding spots in it, blankets and warmth, but usually its so hot in here, even i cant stand it, everywhere says spiders like basments, but my room is on the second floor and we have no air conditioning, and they say they are wander's and thats what im assuming it was doing, but its defently not in a area where its undisterbed, and my usual room mates are your regular house dwellers that sit in the corners. I had sat in my room for well over a hour before i proceeded to turn off my light, and simply got comfortable and had a urge to turn my light back on for one last look around and he was scampering across. Iv looked on a b-jillion sites and read a million things, and i cant come across a picture thats exactly it, so i hope any of that helps?
Thank you.

Your description would appear to agree with your spider being a sac spider, either in the family Miturgidae (see http://tinyurl.com/2u2xt2n for an example) or Clubionidae (see http://tinyurl.com/336hxrx for an example. They commonly are encountered indoors, often in wall corners or where walls and ceilings meet.
