They are a Milk and Wine Crinum Lily, here some info on them at this link - http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/514/
Do you know of any vendors that might carry it?? I'm looking on the Plant Files but there aren't any vendors listed.
A simple internet search ought to do it ~

Mike I have no idea as to how to divide bulbs or rhizomes or corms. This is my first year growing en mase and full grown addiction to bulbs.

Roly, I believe there is someone here at Dave's that could help with that info..I am not that savvy on those types of things either..LOL....
Lets just give it a little time and see what we come up with...you may have some of these for next year yet!
If anyone has any images of their "Milk and Wines" in bloom....Please post them here.
How about we dedicate this thread to the "Milk and Wine" Crinum Lily?
All photos of "Milk and Wine" Crinums welcome!
I've got those crinums for many years. My garden is gradually turning shady, those lovely do bloom best in full sun. Nice pix Mike! (Mine in the shade hasn't bloomed yet).
Do they droop like that naturally as they are getting ready to bloom or are those finished blooming?
ms, the blooms are beautiful. However, they don't last very long. Those that face side way, are those newly open. They then droop when the flowers gradually fade.
I'm delighted with their fast growing flower stalks. Sometimes it (the inflorescent) appeared to sprouted as if over night, but then the flowers fade just almost as fast.
Here is my 2nd stalk in the same group of crinums 'Milk & Wine'. The first bloomed while I was on vacation 2 weeks ago. This is the successive blooms. Like I've mentioned earlier. These perform best in full sun. Unfortunately I don't have the ideal condition to promote their best performance.
I just googled and it says that this lily is only good to a zone 7 so that lets me out. but thanks for the lovely photos.
Mary
This is last years, they are currently blooming here in tennessee zone 7a and they are magnificent this year. Blooms are continuous for 4 weeks now. I would love to have different colors. Does any one know if there is any other color that is hardy in 7a? I couldnt resist posting my pic
Thanks for starting this thread
