We found this on our large roll-out trash container:
Anyone know what it is?
CLOSED: Red and black beetle?
These appear to be nymphs of the Florida predatory stink bug, Euthyrhynchus floridanus (Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Pentatomidae); generally considered as beneficial - see http://tinyurl.com/2asggnh for detailed information.
Hemophobic,
We have a page for the Florida Predatory Stink Bug (Euthyrhynchus floridanus) here: http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/1259/
and would be pleased if you would add your images to that page,
Kennedy
