I've been winter sowing for five years. I planted rhubarb seeds on March 30. I planted almost 20 plants this week.

If you planted March 30, how can that be winter sown ? We planted in the ground on March 27 & we are 2 zones colder than you.
I'm sorry I posted. We had frosts 10 days ago.
Don't be sorry - it was pretty winter-like here at the end of march too.
Don, I'm very glad you posted, I've been curious about the best way to propagate Rhubarb. Those babies look great! The wintersowing method is very adaptable, lots of folks us it for starting seeds up into spring. In your zone, I believe there are a lot of seeds that need some cold treatment that would be good candidates for wintersowing through April.
