Strelitzia juncea LA Availability

Hi!

I spec'd this nice Strelitzia for an LA design but the source I was going to use had only small plants and the client really wants it. Does anyone know of either wholesale or retail sources for this plant near LA? Appreciate any leads.

If Treeland doesn't have them I'll bet they'll know who does. Why the LA area? Are you heading that way?

It's a friend of the landscape architect who is American but lives here. I do the plant stuff but I can only wish I could go south. The client really likes Bird of Paradise and Phormium so I thought, why not mix the two together.

Oh, that makes sense. I would think that Armstrong Garden Centers (http://www.armstronggarden.com/) would have this plant or know where to get it.
