My boys are taking art lessons this week and the mom of one of the other kids is going to bring a huge bug she found in her windshield wiper. It was ID'd as a cicada-killing wasp. I'll try to get a pic with my phone.

Yes, I never heard of it.She said the people at the cooperative extension ID'd it. She said it's really big.

They are big and scary but I believe very docile.

Cool. The kid was sick today so I did not get to see it.
