Last thread was getting long. Here are some noid clems.
2010 Garden Photo's - Part 12
Nice shots, Bill. Love the dark purple iris.
Thanks for starting the new thread. I did not have any new shots. Be careful - 8 out of 10 grammarians would probably take issue with you using an apostrophe in 'photos'.
grammarians? - is that what a bunch of grandmothers are called?
I don't know - the term comes from another thread.
LOL
Nice pics as usual.
nice Bill... I love the dark Iris as well....
and I agree with Jen... must call an exterminator ... after we had carpenter ants in the house the first year we lived here... we keep a contract with terminix ... I can not have that!!.. once a city girl... always a city girl
Beautiful Bill...ditto on the iris too :)
Very nice Bill and Victor
I might have the same dark purple iris, of course it's not blooming yet. The buds look almost black.
Wowza, everybody's blooming and looking fantastic!!
Nice Allison!! I just planted 'Purple Smoke' and 'Carolina Moonlight' the other day. Your yellow is much brighter than the Carolina.
that's how it caught my eye at the rutgers sale... just had to have it.. if it wasn't in bloom I would have walked by
Wow! Nice pics, everyone! So many! That's what happens when you miss a couple of days. Been too busy here.
Welcome, Sandra! This is a great bunch here, and lots of fun. Lots of nice pics to see here, too. And all kinds of helpful advice. Since you're not really new to DG, then you know the how it is. Nice to 'meet' you!
Allison, yes, that plectranthus is the one I've grown. I've also grown another that looks the same, but a different color. Like a gray-green. Love Gnu Blues!
WC2, your 'blue little thingie's' from Brent and Becky's that are so pretty look like hyacinthoides, either Spanish or English Bluebells. I like your JM bonsai. That's looking nice.
Pat, your gardens are looking nice. I spy a gnome in there! Yay, for gnomes! I love them!
Noreaster, I have a lot of the Canadian Mayflower, too. I love it. I nice little woodland plant. I've already tempted fate and planted annuals here, but you're farther north than I am, so I think I'd wait. No really low temps predicted here for the next 5 days, and I think we're pretty much in clear after that. Your Tom Schmid hosta went on my wish list.
Jen, your baby robins are cuties! Your rhodie looks nice and full! Like the blue, yellow, white theme. Nice idea.
Celeste, my friend Karen bought Japanese primrose last year that self-sowed, and she got a ton of seedlings this years. She gave me a bunch. I have some nice areas for them.
Bill, I love your gorgeous, cinnamon colored TBI. Any idea of the name? I have to have it! No such thing as too many RU's Bill. I would come to yours if you had one, as you're not that far from me. That RU/Plant Swap in PA is too far for me. Your NOID clems are gorgeous!
Patti, looking good at your place. I like your 'fun' shot with the sprinkler.
JoAnn, you have a lot potted up already. I've been potting up stuff, too. Got at least 12 containers put together over the weekend. I have that Biokovo geranium. I love it. Love your deep purple iris with the lighter edge and blue beard. Nice!
Tex, you have a lot of nice roses at your place. I love the Peace rose. Mardi Gras is very pretty, too. The yellow iris with the purple streak is cool!
Love your plumeria, Rama.
Abbyday, love your coral poppy. Is it Princess Victoria Louise? You have some great combos there.
Victor, love that Satomi kousa.
Karen
New coleous I got over the weekend. I got them in six packs and planted the surplus ones in 4" pots for selling and giving away. Put the rest in mixed containers.
Love the clems, Bill
LOVE the color on the Satomi
Very nice, Allison
