Change in diet probably help also
Yesterday I found poop with lots of seeds in it near the pond. Might be a bear cub. Yikes!
uh oh!
Normally, I would suspect my neighbor's dog, but would dogs eat fruits and poop all those seeds??
hope your baby feels better Sherrie... hugs to you and pooch
sorry to hear it Victor... think ours might have moved on... none of the neighbors has seen it
Dog poop wouldn't usually look like that
It could. One year both my dogs decided the mulberries were quite tasty. Purple seedfilled poop resulted.
I agree, I had a dog who loved blueberries & raspberries!
Hope so!
Coyote?
Even better!
My girl cat has really bad arthritis (unusual for cats to have arthritis) and I give her a nutritional supplement called Cosequin which is some fancy kind of glucosamine and it has really helped. Celeste - you could try over-the-counter glucosamine for Jake. I bet it would help.
Yes, Sherrie, that's what cured my dog. And Pixie, Memory is right about the meds for Jake. Skip, one of our Dales, was born with mild hip displasia....got worse as he got older, & the vet put him on Rimadyl which greatly helped.
Sherrie - one of our older dogs had UTIs and we gave him cranberry capsules of pure cranberry (no sugar) to prevent them from recurring. It worked. Also, Cosequin works really great for older arthritic dogs. It bought our golden an additional couple of years.
So tough when our fur kids get old...we all know how you feel, Sherrie. Good for you for looking at it the way you do. Best to all the pups and kitties in our lives!
we gave cosequin to the horses too
we have 2 with open eyes!!!

Ya know, they look like little tiny Rotties :) so cute!!!
that's the way they always start out... see the yorkie barking has a heart of a rottie!!!
Yank I buy him glucosamine and he gets a vitiam everyday for older dogs . He has arthritis from being hit by a car when he was younger but never had to have meds for it up until now.
They have grown so much already Allison!!!
Good luck Sherrie!
Hopefully it won't.
Think positive thoughts, Sherrie....Allison, they do look like Rotties! Have you decided which one to keep?
we have to keep Hope for sure... not sure if anything will be wrong with her or not
good luck Sherrie... wonder if the cranberry juice works for the dogs... I know it does for us
I would of said Hope too ^_^
Love the puppy pile pics
Cranberry juice has lots of sugar though that feeds the yeast associated with a UTI. Cranberry in capsules without the sugar is best. GNC carries it in little things that look like a cranberry.
Allison - I'm hoping that Hope will be just fine! no pun intended! :) The puppies are too cute for words!!
the puppy piles crack me up too Jen... the puppy kisses are the best!!!.... and I can see Hope is getting bigger now... it's getting harder & harder to spot her in the crowd now
Funny story about son's dog, Oliver, the goofy wire-haired pointing griffon....son went to Maine yesterday, & my DIL tried for an hour to get him to come in for the night....no luck...she finally called Garret's cell, took it outside, & had him yell to Ollie to get in the house...he did!
LOL... that is great... amazing how some just listen to one person
some shots from today

Yorkies are cuties.
thanks... the boys went home today.... house seems quiet
I was entertained by Ollie today...he came walking out of the woods with a huge plank! He's such a goof....
the new puppy pics are 1/2 way down... Hope is now 1 pound 1/4 ounce!!!!
