...but it's just begging for a caption.

"Please rub my belly. Please? PLEASE!!!!"

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

It is, isn't it?

LOL, yep
just begging for a tickle!

hehem tickle, tickle..

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

My son's cat (a Mainecoon) often looks that way, except when you try to scratch her belly, she does a Jekyll and Hyde thing and sinks her claws in. Fool me once...

Glenview, IL

oh goodness! Terry, my Skittles very much the same.

They are adorable tho...

Mainecoon, is a neat name. What kind of cat is your sons?
LOL, I'm sort of thinking, a Raccoon of Maine?

Got a picture?

OH Terry he is way too cute to disregard! What a a cutie!!! Coochie Coochie Cooo!!

Hi Judy!

I love Main Coons, I have a 14 year old. Mine doesn't dig her claws in but she will bite! She hisses at her toys too in the middle of playing with them.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Judy we crossed!! Maine Coon is the breed. Google Maine Coon Cat.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Yep - Lucy (short for Lucyfur - works on a lot of levels) is a large, fluffy Mainecoon cat. Big ringed tail, distinctive M across her head, and a typical cat through and through. (I'm more of a dog person myself ;o)

I think, way back, the first bear trap was based on the Maine Coon cat model...

Our dear departed Quercus (see member page) was a long hair MC wannabee, but he had all those moves down. Didn't expect to get my hand back a couple times.

Does she have the tufts on her ears and drinks water with her paws? Here's Tiga (Teega)

Here's another, disregard the mess, I was getting ready for work LOL!

Tufts, yes. Drinks with paws? No, but she is pretty dextrous with anything she wants to play with (twist-ties get tossed and caught with the alacrity of a juggler.)

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Tiga can jump up and catch anything, but get her in a tree, on a car, the back of a jet boat, she falls off and never lands on her feet. You'll enjoy this series.

This was at the house in CA a few years before I moved here to AR

Now our cat WILL do that if there's water dripping, but she doesn't seem to want it that way. (I've had cats who seemed to prefer dripping/running water to a bowl. Not this 'un)

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL She used to get in the shower with me, now she waits on the carpet that I'm going to be stepping on, but she'll still go in the shower and sit on the wet flooring. Cracks me up. Cats are insane.

I still want that cutie up at the top :)

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

We had a Samoyed who jumped in teh shower with me every morning when he was a pup. I'm glad he stopped doing that when he was full-grown; there wouldn't have been room for him in there!

I confess, the picture at the top isn't mine...it's something the tech team tossed in there to test the time stamps on photos ;o)

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

OMG I had a Samoyed when I was a kid, they are great dogs but man ours dug up the whole backyard and continuously dug out. He passed away when I was 18 at 11 years old.
LOL Terry, who cares, he's a cutie and now he's on my desktop!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm glad you like him.

We're on Sammy #3 (the first one died of heat stroke at age 9, the second had leukemia and we finally had to put her down when she was 8; this one is spoiled rotten and is coming up on her 7th or 8th birthday (we adopted her when she was a year old.)
