Outstanding! Congratulations on all the new birds. Glad you had such a productive time. Thanks for sharing them with us. The shots are wonderful!!!

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

What a wonderful variety of birds-each one is so different and yet so pretty. How exciting to see all of these in person. Thanks for taking us with you, I thoroughly enjoyed all of them.

I wish other states would get involved with the wildlife license plates like Ohio does. It might save some of our state parks.

Fantastic collection, Burd. Lake Erie is the equivalent of a fence and they all stop at the "fence" in Ottawa NWR. I'm envious. Congratulations on all of your new birds. Did you say that you were going to Point Pelee on the other side of Lake Erie ? I was there one time after a night of gambling in Windsor, Ontario, but didn't do any birding. Also went to the Detroit Tigers new stadium for a night game and stopped in Cleveland on the way home for an afternoon game.

Thanks for the nice reply's everyone!! Resin, I had to trek about 1/4 mile down the beach to get to the Kirtland's...every step got heavier as I prayed it would still be there. lol
Linth, I never get past Put in Bay. lol Ive been on all the Islands at one time or another...but not for birding. They were having a big birding bonanza on Point Pelee though the previous weekend. I stick with Magee Marsh just need gas in the truck and I,m there.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Some of the sightings from this past week are posted on the Crane Creek Blog. I walked some of these place's but I need a couple more year's of experience to spot some of these bird's.

I wonder what kind of action they get in the fall? Hopefully you will be able to let us know later this year. Thanks for taking the time to post all these birds...it is very educational!!
