Live in west Texas,(Crane), and wanting a tree (evergreen if possible) for an interior courtyard. House is built in "U" shape and court yard is all concrete, fountain, pots, etc. Would like the tree for shade, and need roots to be non evasive. Would appreciate any help with this. Any suggestions? Thanks

How about Texas Pinyon Pinus remota? Native to the Edwards Plateau, drought tolerant, attractive small tree.
