Birds at the Zoo

Melbourne, FL

I'm going to start uploading my shots from my recent visit to our local zoo. I have quite a few and it will take a while. First up is a Macaw.

They had a section with injured Birds of Prey. So sad to see these unable to live free. Red-tailed Hawk.

I was dissapointed I could not get any really good shots of the two Bald Eagles. They were in very dappled shade.

Another unknown Australian or more likely Asian bird. These birds had two babies that were so tiny, but running around, but all of their pics were too fuzzy due to the poor light.

Last two pics. First is a collage of some animals besides birds. It includes Giraffes, Rhinos, Tortoise, Jaguar, Cheetah, Anteater, Alligator, Red Wolf and Gibbon. I was able to touch the top of one of the Giraffes from a viewing platform. It felt like a stiff bristle brush. The Jaguar was sleeping, not dead:)
